Important Announcement

On June 7th Commissioner Ron Stiver, representing the Governor's Office, will be in Muncie to make an exciting announcement concerning details of a grant for Eastern Indiana.  The announcement will be made promptly at 8:30 AM at the Ball State University Alumni Center located at 2800 W. Bethel Avenue in Muncie. 

The strategic skills grant will be awarded to the state's economic growth region 6, which consists of the nine counties of Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush, Union and Wayne counties.  This grant is the culmination of nearly a year of research and planning lead by an Executive Team comprised of E. Roy Budd, Denny Burns, Dennis Chambers, Joseph Evans, Nancy Kinder, Jim Riggle (Chair) and Jim Steck. The grant will be overseen by the Eastern Indiana Region VI Regional Workforce Board.

This event will be held in conjunction with the Crossing Borders workshop sponsored by the Ball State University Miller College of Business.  There will be a continental breakfast served at 8:00 AM.  Registrations are not required if only attending the announcement.
